We recorded the brainwaves of prominent thinkers and creators and turned them into an installation that debuted at the Art Gallery of Ontario.

What does thinking look like? We recorded EEG sessions with scientists, musicians and writers while they worked through the problems they care about most.
Each recording became a portrait: a generative system translated frequency bands into colour, density and motion, so every mind produced a visual signature that belonged only to it.
Shown at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the piece let visitors stand in front of a stranger's concentration and recognise something of their own.
